Making Our Volvo Sound Better Than an RS3... Sorry Audi

Описание: This mod seriously changed how our Volvo S40 T5 sounds — and honestly, it might just sound better than an Audi RS3 now... just not as fast yet!

In this video, we finally install a true cold air intake on our turbo Volvo. It’s the last piece we needed to complete our Stage 1 setup, alongside the custom exhaust, turbo inlet, and torque mount we’ve already done. And yes — this intake is routed to pull air from outside, not just the engine bay.

But the installation didn’t go as planned. Since Volvo mounted the ECU inside the factory air box, we had to re-wire and relocate the ECU just to get the intake to fit. After a lot of struggle, we got it mounted, started the car, and took it out for the big reveal.

We're building this 5-cylinder Volvo to go head-to-head with an RS3 — and this intake brought us one step closer.
