Qian Qiu is used as the opening theme to 2014 Chinese television drama The Empress of China. It was sung by Chinese singer Sun Nan.

The TV show is based on events in 7th and 8th-century Tang dynasty, starring producer Fan Bingbing as the titular character Wu Zetian—the only woman in Chinese history to rule as an emperor.
