Free online academy: Punjab govt launches insaf ACADEMY mobile app for students

Описание: The Punjab School Education Department (SED) has launched a free online academy for the students of matriculation and intermediate levels to counter the tuition culture in the province.

Punjab Minister for School Education Murad Raas on Tuesday announced the launch of Insaf Academy to give students absolutely free access to educational resources.

The resources consist of over 7,000 lectures and mock MCQ quizzes to help students effectively prepare for the annual exams without spending a penny on tuition centres.

The minister also tweeted “Launching INSAF Academy for our Children. Online 7,000+ lectures &; (MCQs) quizzes. Absolutely free for grades 9, 10, 11, and 12. Free education for every child at their doorstep”.

Insaf Academy consists of content for grade 9, 10, 11, and 12. The matriculation content would also be available in both English and Urdu languages. The mobile versions of Insaf Academy would also be available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Mr Raas announced that recorded lecturers would be delivered to the students who get themselves registered in the Insaf Academy while adding the students could self-assess their skills through online tests to be made available on its website.

He said the government was working to promote the English language in schools and 1,000 master trainers were prepared for achieving the targets.

He said the academy would give an equal level playing-field to students with different economic and social backgrounds.Earlier in February, the Punjab government had announced establishment of 100 Insaf schools in Lahore this year.

The district education authority had decided to establish 100 Insaf schools in Lahore before the start of a new academic session.
