Repairing a worn bearing stand on the commutator side of an Otis 219 gearless machine. The broken bearing and bouncing cables caused damage to the bore, so the stand was welded, then machined and bored on the Bridgeport to restore it. Shaft was resleeved and a new bearing installed to bring the stand back into spec.
