And it's also true that I shouldn't have to apologize for speaking up because this should be breaking all of our hearts. I am greatly troubled that followers of Jesus are silent and dismissive of victims with the justification and in the name of power and financial success. It's appalling that we are protecting power and political party over victims. This is not about politics for me. This is personal.
