The Mid Atlantic version of the United States Heavyweight Championship was the primary title in that territory of the National Wrestling Alliance and would become a midcard title in World Championship Wrestling in later years.
We'll take a look at every wrestler that held the U.S. Championship between it's introduction in 1975 and the purchase of WCW by the WWF in 2001. The reactivated title currently used in World Wrestling Entertainment is not included in this list, but will be part of another video.
Two notes: There is a typo. The Dusty Rhodes listing at the 17:56 mark should read November 26, not November 27. The audio is right, the text is wrong.
Ric Flair won the World Tag Title with Blackjack Mulligan in 1979. He had held it previously with Greg Valentine.
