13 charged in connection with Ohio wedding shooting; 50-70 shell casings recovered

Police announced charges against 13 people after a wedding reception ended in gunfire and wounded two 16-year-old girls.

Whitehall Police said 9 adults were arrested this week in coordination with local, state, and federal law enforcement. At least five firearms were seized, including a fully automatic handgun.

Court documents say that on November 23, 2025, just before 4 a.m., multiple masked individuals were in the parking lot near a wedding reception in the 170 block of South Hamilton Road as the reception was ending.

The group fired guns, first in the air and then at a crowd and vehicles. The gunfire caused panic, and two 16-year-old girls were shot. One of the gunshot victims was struck by a car during the chaos, court documents say.

About 50-70 shell casings of varying calibers were recovered.
