When my first Yamaha Neo Euphonium arrived, I put it through its paces and was pleasantly surprised with the versatility and playability. A long term ’Custom’ player, I found the lighter horn to have more tricks up its sleeve.
When I started using a Yamaha in the early 1990’s, they were considered several steps down from Besson and friends and many thought I was foolish to change. No longer folks.
