Dark Circles Under the Eyes [My Experience]

Описание: Anne has been a patient at Reflections Center for several years now, mostly doing small preventative maintenance treatments. But over the past year, her dark circles under her eyes have really become something that stood out to her as a problem area. Skincare and makeup simply weren't cutting it anymore.

Anne has had a treatment performed by Dr. Renata Wix-Harris that is commonly referred to as a Vampire Facial for her under eyes. This treatment combines microneedling with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections. Microneedling works much like fractional laser, creating tiny collumns of micro-damage that starts a healing cascade that will result in the creation of new collagen and new skin cells. This works to tighten and firm the under eye skin. PRP helps supercharge those results. Where we might have needed many, many treatments with microneedling to achieve a result before, now we can get that same result by adding PRP and doing a small series.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a procedure where we isolate and concentrate down the growth and healing factors from your own blood. To do this, we draw some of your blood and use a special kit to create the PRP from it. We believe in not only applying the PRP directly to the areas of micro-injury caused by the microneedling, but also in injecting it, as there have been studies that show the holes created by microneedling close very quickly and PRP injections allow us to be sure that the PRP is delivered below the skin where it can be absorbed and used by the body.

At the time of this filming, Anne has had 1 treatment, but she will complete 2-3 in total.
She's seen less wrinkling, less darkness, and that she needs to use a lot less concealer.
