Harder than D1D7 ?
Well…

(Spoiler alert)
Its not quite. Originally this map was thought to be harder than D1D7 and with that the new hardest Celeste map, but in reality this was not quite the case. The reason for this is because it was only cleared by Kiiview who did beat 2k3 in D1D7 prior because it seemed interesting to him. Then afterwards decided to clear election d and concluded it harder, which in his case is true since difficulty is subjective but this is mainly due to his very specific skillset being perfect for 2k3. Though since he is primarily a fangame player beside that he generally was not very experienced with Celeste as a whole, causing him to end up struggling more with some of these rooms than with 2k3. I wont go much deeper into it right here but that's generally it. Personally for me none of these rooms felt any close in difficulty to 2k3.

My actual experience with this map was uh, not great. Initially I wanted to just clear room 8 in secret off stream since it seemed annoying to me to stream and funny to be able to shadow drop it, afterwards I gave room 10 a shot and actually made very fast progress on it so I decided to commit to clearing the map completely in secret. Though after that I got extremely unlucky with room 10 causing one of if not maybe my worst experience with this game as a whole. This map was intentionally made to be not fun and it succeeds, please dont play it its not worth it I promise. It was funny to be able to shadow drop my clear to stream though which I did include at the end of the video so enjoy that.
