Seth and I kicked off our Fraser Island trip a couple of days before the rest of the crew to get a head start and it’s safe to say the island didn’t make it easy for us. Before we even made it to the campsite, we copped a huge flat tyre, a boost leak, a cooked wheel bearing, stripped wheel studs, and nearly lost a wheel. Nothing like a bit of chaos to start the trip off right.
Once we finally made it to camp, things started to turn around. We spent the next few days fishing, wake boarding, beach driving, and camping under the stars. The weather was unreal, the water was crystal clear, and the vibes were perfect. A couple of days later our mates finally rocked up but not before their car caught on fire on the way over. Somehow, that just made it all more memorable.
Even with all the setbacks, this trip turned into one of the best ones yet. Nothing beats Fraser with good mates, a few cold drinks, and a bit of chaos to laugh about later.
