I have the cheapest but best sounding wooden piccolo ( rosewood ) you could ask for so it routinely needs maintenance. The joint cover on the body portion of the piccolo needs resealing. The piccolo part I play is me testing on the day I grab it from it's drying place, waiting for me to bring it to life again c:
I am a descendent of the Zeal family from the Chrono Trigger universe, so what better tune than my family theme for testing and background music for my instrument maintenance ;) I play double reeds too, I am playing the main theme on my English horn. I make reeds for that and oboe as well, so I will eventually create more how to related music videos when I make reeds. I will share some how to videos for classical string instrument maintenance in time as well. I also play violin, viola, and cello.
