President Trump’s remarks blaming Iran for the recent bombing of an all-girls school in southern Iran, where more than 160 people were killed, run counter to the mounting evidence that the U.S. military is likely responsible for the attack.
The Shajarah Tayyebeh elementary school, located in Minab, Iran, in the nation’s southern Hormozgan Province, was hit on Feb. 28 in a military strike, at the same time the U.S. attacked an adjacent Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) naval base, according to a New York Times analysis.
