Описание: When there’s a pose that nearly everyone needs to be assisted in, you know it’s going to be challenging! And while the traditional assist works just fine, we’ve got one that we believe is even better for both the practitioner and the teacher.

In this video, we’re showing you how to GIVE AN ASSIST IN KARANDAVASANA in Ashtanga Yoga’s Intermediate Series. This very difficult pose is not for beginners, so you’ll learn what one needs to be able to do before moving into it. We show you the more common, traditional assist as well as our own special version that gives the practitioner more of an opportunity to be independent and use their own strength (and it’s easier on your back!). We also share an assist you can use for someone who is just starting to learn this pose. You’ll learn key alignment tips as well, so you can apply them as the practitioner or help your students move with them in mind.
