I'm Chris West, founder of The School of Embodiment in Stroud, UK. I have a Masters in Psychology and have spent the last 15 years deeply immersed in the study and practice of meditation, spirituality and somatic healing.

After a long period of intense psychological suffering, I discovered somatic healing, meditation and spiritual enquiry as ways of stepping into the peace, freedom and joy of my True Nature. I now share what I've discovered along the way.

These videos explore spiritual awakening, embodiment, somatic healing, nervous system healing, emotional healing and meditation for people who have been on the path for a while and sense there is something deeper to explore.

My work sits at the intersection of three things:

• recognising what you truly are beyond identification with the body and mind
• healing the body and nervous system
• releasing repressed emotion

Together, these form a complete path of awakening, embodiment and healing

Above all, though, my work has been shaped by direct experience, thousands of hours of deep practice, and years of working with people one-to-one and in groups.
