Описание: Maternal and child healthcare remains a significant concern in Somalia, a country with one of the highest mother and child deaths globally. According to recent data by the UN, Somalia records 621 deaths per 100,000 live births, with the mortality rate in children under five sitting at approximately 106 deaths per 1,000 live births.

MSF calls upon national authorities and international organisations to invest more in strengthening the health system, both at primary and secondary levels, by allocating enough resources to improve access to healthcare for women and children.
