 Margot Robbie's forgotten ABC historical drama series is quietly climbing streaming charts over a decade after it ended. The actor's career has been full of various projects that she's been part of, producing interesting stories with compelling characters. Robbie's movie roles are what she's best known for, such as Harley Quinn in the DCEU and the title protagonist of Barbie.  However, one of her least-remembered roles was in the 2011 ABC TV series Pan Am. The historical drama follows the aircraft personnel of the Pan Am Clipper Majestic, a fictional airplane operating in the early 1960s. Robbie co-starred as Laura Cameron alongside Christina Ricci's Maggie Ryan and Michael Mosley's Ted Vanderway. Robbie's character is a newly-trained stewardess on the plane.  Now, FlixPatrol reports that Pan Am is quietly gaining traction on streaming in the United States via AMC+. As of writing, the show is Number 10 on the platform in the US as of September 29, 2025. However, this number has fluctuated in recent days, even hitting Number 5 on the streaming service on September 27. What Pan Am's Sudden Success Says About The Show  Despite getting generally favorable reviews from critics, Pan Am did not last very long on ABC. The show began with strong ratings when it premiered in September 2011, but they declined through the end of season 1 in February 2012. ABC cancelled the show, and while Amazon was seemingly interested due to its international success, a deal was never formulated.  Now, 14 years after the show began, it seems AMC+ has become a bastion for renewed success. While it's not considered one of the best historical dramas on TV, Pan Am is still memorable for its star-studded cast and ambitious setting, especially for a broadcast network show. Robbie's central role no doubt elevated it, considering how important her character was.
