Hello everyone! In this video, I head to Hamilton to look for ducks along the southern shore of Lake Ontario. Although it can be difficult to find birds during the winter, ducks are usually still plentiful. Throughout my day of birding I also happened to find the largest gull in the world (great black-backed gull) and the heaviest bird in North America (trumpeter swan)! I also talk about music and the difficulties of the holidays.
I’m also very excited to announce that next week I’ll be flying out to the Yukon Territory so expect some videos coming soon about what it’s like birding in the real great white north!
