Braces have come a long way throughout the years of orthodontic care. Traditional braces required each individual bracket to be adjusted in order to straighten teeth.
At Cook Orthodontics of Dublin, we use the more traditional, twin brackets, when baby teeth are still present and we have to adjust a few adult teeth during phase 1 treatment.
When all adult teeth have moved in, we use a revolutionary style of braces known as Damon Braces. Damon Braces use a special thermal activated metal wire that moves teeth with gentler force and actually moves teeth faster with less discomfort.
