Video of a ride all the way to the end of the Hudson line - Poughkeepsie - from the start of the line at Grand Central Station in Manhattan.
Poughkeepsie is a very small (pop ~30,000 as of the 2020s) city on the east bank of the Hudson, home to many attractions I am sure, of which two currently spring to mind for me: Vassar (the prestigious college), and a spectacular (and for some, terrifying :)) pedestrians-and-bikes-only high arch bridge over the Hudson called....well, The Walkway Over The Hudson.
In this ride, I'm pointing the camera west - i.e. inland - rather than east towards the Hudson (along which the train runs), so the views are not as tremendously spectacular as they could be, but on the other hand you get a harder-to-find view of the route.
I'll film The Scenic Version another time, coming down from Poughkeepsie to GCT, looking east out on the river. (Actually I already have the Dobbs Ferry to GCT part; just haven't uploaded it yet)
