Cortazar, who died at the age of 69, was born in Brussels to Argentine parents, and spent his life split between Argentina and France, where he set himself apart as a novelist and short story writer who is best known for the surrealism in his work.
Showing some of the most intimate artifacts of his life, the exhibition "The other skies" was inaugurated in Buenos Aires's National Museum of Fine Arts.
The exhibition is divided into twelve thematic units, including photographs and personal belongings.
