In this video, I demonstrate how to use the GNSS Importer tool from the Seismic Section ArcGIS Pro Add-in to process real GNSS survey data used in seismic projects.
This tool was designed to replace multiple external workflows (Trimble Business Center, Leica tools, GPSeismic checks, manual QC, Excel work) with one integrated ArcGIS Pro environment.
You will learn how to:
• Import GNSS data from Trimble JobXML and Leica SQLite files
• Automatically detect base stations and rover observations
• Transform coordinates from WGS84 to your local project coordinate system
• Apply Geoid correction to compute Local Height and Geoid Height (GPSeismic compatible)
• Apply Base Station and Rover HI corrections safely
• Attach Preplot files and calculate Inline, Crossline, Radial Offset, and Azimuth
• Use the Live Offset Preview map to visualize differences instantly
• Attach Checkpoint (CHK) files and compare surveyed points vs reference CSV files
• Export the final results to Feature Class and CSV for production use
This workflow is used in real seismic survey QC operations and helps reduce processing time, eliminate errors, and keep everything inside ArcGIS Pro.
