The new rule 4:1 comes with additional substitution possibilities: from now on, teams can substitute their goalkeeper for an additional court player (seven court players at maximum) without the player having to wear a specific shirt.
This allows for new tactical possibilities Ramón Gallego (IHF-PRC) explains in detail in the video. The examples shown in the video demonstrate both advantages and risks in the application of this additional substitution possibility.
