Sky News host Peta Credlin says she spent much of the weekend preparing for the “different world we will be living in for the next few months”.
Ms Credlin said infections are increasing “more than 20 per cent each day” so “it would only take four weeks from now for 50,000 people to have the disease” in Victoria alone.
“With large gatherings now banned and overseas travel virtually at a halt… the reality has finally sunk in,” she said.
It's so important to slow the spread of this disease… and based on the reports from China, we can get on top of this.
“New infections in China are apparently down to double digits and the death count, down to single digits.
“We just need to pull together to make sure everything is done to help people.”
