Global Child Health Rising: Capacity Building

Описание: The Centre for Global Child Health at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto is dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families in resource poor environments around the world; through collaboration in ground-breaking research, sustainable capacity building through education, and the active communication of results through advocacy, knowledge translation and the use of evidence for policy development. Since 2009, SickKids has worked with partners in Ghana to reduce child morbidity and mortality by launching an innovative and sustainable Paediatric Nursing Training Program -- the first of its kind in West Africa. This program is undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada provided through the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Development and SickKids Foundation.
