If you are truly seeking God, there will be visible signs evident in your life. There is an inner transformation that will happen that you can see and check.

First, you will naturally repel away from worldly things. This could be dark music or media, addictions, or environments. At the same time, you will seek out spiritually edifying inputs.

While we should always consciously strive and struggle against temptations and passions, we will also have a natural repelling against some of this. As we seek Christ, we will more intentionally struggle against our passions and more fervently strive to sin no more. When we do sin, there will be a greater and deeper level of repentance.

As we seek God and there is an inner transformation, we will naturally strive to do good works and pleasing works for God. We will desire to pray, to fast, to be in Church, to help those in need. We will TRULY desire to sacrifice our lives to God and desire for His will to be done in us.

The inner transformation is a continual progression and not an overnight thing. This will continue for our lifetime as long as we keep seeking Christ. We’ll grow in love for the Lord our God and for others and it will be very apparent within us and to even others around us.
