TCS, Infosys, Wipro: Five reasons why good times are back in the IT sector

Описание: India's largest software majors TCS, Infosys and Wipro have scripted a strong recovery after their numbers took a hit in the aftermath of the Covid shock in the first quarter. The second-quarter results for the period ended September points to good times returning to the Indian IT sector.

The IT sector is the biggest engine of job creation in the private sector in India. According to data from Nasscom, the technology industry in India over FY2009-FY2019 has added USD 105 billion in revenue and over 2 million employees. Women employees today account for over 35 per cent (1.4 million) share in the total industry employee base.
