Waffles
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
Olive oil as needed
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cardamom
2 tablespoons condensed milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
Butter to grease the waffle pan
Instructions:
Mix eggs, milk, sugar, olive oil, baking powder, cardamom, and condensed milk in a food processor.
Gradually add the all-purpose flour and mix until smooth.
Heat your waffle pan and grease it with butter.
Pour the batter and cook until golden and crisp.
Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon rose water
1 tablespoon yeast
1 teaspoon cardamom
1/4 cup butter
4 cups all-purpose flour
For the filling:
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
Instructions:
Mix eggs, sugar, milk, rose water, yeast, cardamom, butter, and flour to make the dough.
Let the dough rest for 1 hour to rise.
Flatten the dough, then spread the sugar, cinnamon, and butter mixture evenly over it.
Roll the dough and cut into 1-inch pieces.
Place rolls in a greased baking tray and let them rest for another 30 minutes.
Bake at 370°F (185°C) for 20 minutes.
Pour icing over the rolls—condensed milk works great as a simple glaze.
Kofta Kabobs
Ingredients:
1 kg beef
2 medium onions
5 garlic cloves
Ginger
A little spinach
Spices: homemade spice mix, paprika, curry powder, coriander powder, salt
Instructions:
Grind all ingredients using a meat grinder or food processor.
Squeeze excess water from the onions to keep the kofta firm and smooth.
Mix all the ingredients and let it marinate for 30 minutes if you have time.
Shape the mixture into your desired form.
Fry in oil over medium heat until lightly browned.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 15 minutes to steam and cook through.
Bread 🍞 Ingredients
5 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon yeast
2 to 2½ cups warm water
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil
Instructions
Mix yeast with warm water and let it rest until foamy.
Add flour and salt, then add the yeast and water slowly to make a soft dough.
Knead until smooth, grease lightly with oil, cover and let rise for 3 hours.
Divide into 3 balls and rest for 5 minutes.
Shape the dough, place on a greased tray, cover and rest 15 minutes.
Bake at 430°F for 5 to 10 minutes until golden, flip and bake the other side.
Cover and serve warm.
Indian Roti
Ingredients:
Indian roti flour
Salt
Warm water
Butter (optional, for cooking)
Instructions:
Make the dough by mixing flour, salt, and warm water until smooth.
Flatten the dough into thin circles.
Cook on a hot pan until golden spots appear.
Cook with a little butter if desired for extra flavor.
