SWFL Eagles ~ M15 Brings A Bird! Feathers Flying All Over The E's! 😊 F23 Preps Her Prey! 12.21.24

Описание: F23 was brooding the E's when M15 flies in with a partial bird dark in color. F23 takes the bird and drags if across the nest and E25 and starts to prep it and de-feather. M15 was trying to feed E24 but the E's turned to face Mom. Feathers start flying as F23 preps the bird covering the E's - several hit E25 in the face and head. F23 finally offers bites to the E''s. E25 bites E24's beak twice while waiting to get fed. F23 offers a small bone to E24 but she takes it right back. That was a smart thing to do as bones given to young eaglets can cause an obstruction as they can't digest or swallow them properly.

F23 offers bites to E25 and then E25 gets its head caught under E24's wing. M15 lands on the nest with a long thin stick and knocks E24 over! E24 gets right back up and is okay - Helmets needed! M15 then removes the stick from the bowl and broods the E's. F23 flies to the CSS for a break.
The E's will now have extra softness & insulation from the feathers in the nest! Thank you for watching!
