This video follows me driving through Colorado’s backroads at peak fall color — slowing down, exploring side roads, and stopping wherever the light and the landscape pull me in. No fixed plan, just chasing aspens, weather, and moments that feel worth stepping out of the truck for.
This is how I scout locations as a landscape photographer — driving, observing, doubling back, and letting the season guide the day. Some spots I knew, others I found along the way, all of them shaped by autumn light and Colorado’s incredible mountain scenery.
