This is the theme song to an old spaghetti western with the same name. I love this version performed by Andre Rieu and his orchestra - it's beautiful, rich and has a haunting sound that carries the imagination away.
Personally, I can't think of any place more "West" than southern Utah, especially around Moab and Canyonlands. I hope the few pictures I have attached can convey the rugged almost overwhelming beauty of this isolated landscape.
