Torana to Rajgad | Range Trek [12 KM]
Rajgad to Torana is one of the most beautiful range trek in monsoon in Sahyadri near Pune. This is around 12 KM trail trek and one can see the complete trail from either of the forts. It takes around 6 hours to complete this trail with normal pace. We started this trail from Konkan Darvaja of Torana Fort and ended at Chor Darvaja of Rajgad Fort.
It was heard that the Leopards are recently seen around this region and we were at the middle of the trail by dark. Hence for safety reason we took shelter at night at one of the villager Shri. Kachre's home which is the only home on the way from Torna to Rajgad trail if you do not wish to leave this trail and descend to any nearby village.
