Dr. Rachel Yadid, executive director of Eeleh BeTamar, one of the co-hosts of the Nov 30th event. Eeleh BeTamar is named to commemorate the first mass Aliyah in the late 1800s, before what is widely known as the first Aliya. Their organization promotes research and cultural events – and have over 30 books published about Yemenite Jewry.
