I usually refuse to cut losing trades. How can I modify that? Why are traders sometimes reluctant to cut their losses? Do you take a loss in a losing position or wait for it to turn around? OK.

I refuse to cut losing trades. How can I fix that? I understand this is very frustrating. I rarely experienced this problem except in my early years but I do understand that people tend to struggle with this. Have a look back and analyze what is causing this? Maybe you've had a series of losers or you had a drawdown from a high. Or perhaps you're not in the best frame of mind or frustrated? Or maybe you're trying to force yourself to make enough money for XYZ... Are you moving your stop to avoid getting stopped out? If so this comes down to not trusting and believing in your trading plan. The rules are there for a reason!
