The Proteas fast bowler, Kagiso Rabada, broke the world record in Dhaka this morning for becoming the fastest player to take 300 Test wickets.
This morning Rababa bowled Mushfiqur Rahim of Bangladesh out for 11-runs in the Tigers first innings of day one of the 1st Test to become the sixth South African to reach the milestone.
In claiming his 300th scalp, he broke the long-standing record of the Pakistan great and King of Yorkers, Waqar Younis.
Rabada needed 11 817 balls, while Younis did it in 12 602.
Rabada speaks about joining the elite 300 club.
At the close of play, South Africa held a 34-run lead with four first innings wickets in hand.
