Описание: RINGS isn't your normal R&B artist. He named himself after the scars and rings that trees gather through life - which could be reopened with life's ups and downs and/or emotional seasons. His temperamental delivery doesn't rely on boast or beats per se, and yet there seems to be at least a part of him that's the paradox of whatever swag is. The genius behind Cam Roberson is the definitive allure that defines his work and draws upon the spirit of truth. Whether onstage or in a video, the clear-cut emo feels of his lyrics and the almost-vexing honesty of his subject matter produces such an intriguing character. Once RINGS is heard, he can't be forgotten. Emerging out a rough neighborhood in St. Louis, MO that was marked by violence and substance abuse, RINGS makes mention of his inspirations from Prince to Pharrell Williams. That inspiration led him to pack his bags and moving to LA in his teens - where he would begin to work with various music powerhouses such as Will-I-Am and super-producer RedOne. Like the RINGS of on the interior of a tree, everything you could ever want to know about him can be read and understood from his pain and scars - as each one has a song and a season of its own.
