'Late Night Libretto' Kickstarter Launch - a new Jazz Guitar album

Описание: I am so excited and slightly terrified to be launching my first Kickstarter campaign in support of a brand new Jazz guitar album entitled Late Night Libretto.

I do not ask for help like this lightly, but I have been waiting to make this album, my Jazz guitar album, since I was 16 years old. I think now's the time. I could really use your help and really want to share it with you, can you take a look at my Kickstarter and share it, show it to the music lovers in your life, and let me know if you're excited about it too? I appreciate it so much!
This album is going to be pretty insane. My new original tunes have been honed and hewn live on stages with these incredible players, and I can't believe they're going to be on this thing.
The album is called Late Night Libretto, it's a Jazz guitar love letter to the live music scene here in town, to arranging on the fly and calling tunes, to the set break hangs and quick bites, to the dancers in the crowd. It's for listening to and engaging with, not for putting on and forgetting about. It's going to be printed to CD and vinyl, it's coming with a songbook of the tunes, it's flying in the face of every playlist bot and tiktok trend. It is going to be real, and it's going to sound so good.

It's going to feature the best band I could ever wish for. Aretha Tillotson on bass, Andrew McCarthy on drums, and Bruce MacKinnon on alto sax. It's being recorded at Union Sound Company by James Paul and will be featuring original artwork and design by Jaymie Karn. It's going to be full of my brand new music that's never been recorded, and it will absolutely feature music by two of my biggest influences, the two people I think this music sits perfectly between- Jimmy Bryant and Thelonious Monk.

Thank you for being here, I've been telling my 16-year-old-self all about you crazy people, the ones who bought up all the Spring Garden Bandstand vinyl, who come to all the shows, who share my posts and watch the videos. He can't believe you're real. I can't either! Thank you all!!
