J H Rhodes, GM3 (Gunners Mate Third Class) cleans the barrels of a .50 Caliber Machine Gun, duel mount. A cleaning rod is run back and forth through the barrel. Machine gun belted. Rhodes places lubricant on a cloth and runs the cloth down barrel of Machine gun. He works over the gun and applies a thin coat of grease to end of gun barrel with a brush. Location: An Thoi Phu Quoc Vietnam. Date: January 16, 1966.
