NEW United Arab Emirates Circulation Polymer Banknote - 100 Dirhams 2025!

Описание: March 24, 2025 Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (In Arabic: مصرف الإمارات العربية المتحدة المركزي‎) introduced a new 100 Dirham banknote on a polymer base into circulation.

Full description of the banknote's security features:
1. SPARK Flow® DIMENSIONS – an advanced optical effect that changes colour and pattern when the banknote is moved.

2. KINEGRAM COLORS® – a multi-coloured foil security strip, difficult to counterfeit.

3. Brille – raised markings for the blind and visually impaired.

4. Relief printing (intaglio) – noticeable graphic elements and inscriptions.

5. Polymer substrate – increased durability and resistance to moisture and dirt.

The banknote retains its characteristic red colour scheme and includes the following motifs:

a) Obverse: Umm Al Quwain National Fort.

b) Reverse: Port of Fujairah and Etihad Rail – symbols of the UAE's modern infrastructure.
