Update: We tried bonding for months but Jack continued to attack Milton and she had a bad habit of biting and getting aggressive with guests. Unfortunately we had to rehome her and Milton is now free-range in the living room. Because of the bad match i don't believe I will try bonding again but the cage worked very well.
Jack is a female Rex and Milton is a male Holland Lop
I was able to create this pen for under $40 but I already had the majority of the tools required, as well as the area rug I used as the floor.
