Описание: The sisters discuss how they were often riding trains. Rose, in particular, was often staying with Grandmother Burchett's sister in Michigan. She made frequent trips. Singing and music were constant staples in their house. They used to sing in the evenings, creating entertainment for neighbors in the surrounding area. Bonnie and Muriel even won a singing competition! A good education clearly was encouraged for all the kids; Henry Burchett donated the land on which their local school sat. The female school teachers would also often stay with them. The sisters also discuss what their favorite subjects were in school.
