PATRON OF: Invoked against: cholera, epidemics, knee problems, plague, skin diseases. Patron Saint of: bachelors, diseased cattle, dogs, falsely accused people, invalids, Istanbul, surgeons, tile-makers, gravediggers, second-hand dealers, pilgrims, apothecaries, Sarmato, Altare e Girifalco, Italy, Pateros, Caloocan, Philippines

ACT OF CONTRITION
My Lord Jesus Christ, true God and true man, You who are infinite goodness, I regret a thousand times of having offended you, oh beloved Father, my beloved Creator, and my beloved Redeemer, Three in One. I am filled, my God, with shame and confusion to see the many offenses I have committed against You. But since You have borne me with so much mercy during the course of my hateful crimes, do not withdraw it from me now, O Lord, that, sorrowing for them and repenting with all the truth of my soul, I firmly resolve, with the help of your divine Grace, never offend you again. Help me, God, to fulfill this resolution. Amen.

PRAYER TO SAINT ROCH
Glorious Saint Roch, who merited, for your heroic charity in assisting the poor who suffered from the plague, reaching God for their relief, and exterminating the plague from the hospitals in which you assisted them, ask the Lord to give us grace so that we can be free from this plague and from our sin, and that repentant and saved from those transgressions we have committed, we might glorify God in your company eternally in glory. Amen.

FOURTH DAY PRAYER
Let us represent Saint Roch today as a paragon of patience, enduring without complaint the annoyances and fatigue of his travels that for the love of God he undertook, as well as the work he suffered assisting the plagued, and especially those he suffered with great cost and joy in his last years. Five years of his life without discovering who he was or advocating for his release from the painful prison in which he was locked up. Let us ask him to obtain from the Lord the necessary patience in the works of this life considering the justice of God in punishing our sins here, and blessing the hand that hurts us for our highest good. Amen.

Intercede with the Saint with 5 Our Fathers, 5 Hail Marys, and 5 Glory Bes, in honor of the five years that Saint Roch spent in prison.

FINAL PRAYER
God, that you promised the Blessed Roch a table, which was brought to him by an Angel, so that whoever invokes him will not be afflicted by the plague; Grant us who call him to mind, that by his merits we may be freed from this illness, by our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Pray for us, blessed Roch.
So that we can be freed from the plague and the epidemic.

PRAYER
We beg you, Lord, guard your people with continuous piety, and by the merits of the blessed Roch, may we be protected from all contagion of soul and body. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
