Описание: Single handed sailing on a Grampian 34 foot fin keel . A force 9 gale is coming and I don''t have access to a safe marina. It's time to test the anchor, thankfully in a reasonably sheltered bay. I'm at the edge of the gale with gusts of 35 knots, and most importantly no swell. Hindsight is a luxury, but when you're sat waiting for the gale to arrive, there's always a little uncertainty about what nature will throw at you. But any experience as a solo sailor, at least the ones that you survive, make you stronger. Doesn't it?
