Описание: ARYSE's flagship program is PRYSE Academy, a summer program based in Pittsburgh designed to support the needs and aspirations of immigrant and refugee youth in grades 6-12. PRYSE Academy 2021 was the 9th year in a row of the program and took place over the course of 5 weeks. To accommodate the need for safety re: Covid-19, the program was held virtually 3 days/week and held 1 in-person day. On Saturday, August 7th, the culminating event, the Final Showcase, was held in-person at Crafton Park. Students and counselors presented dances, storytelling projects, songs, and more to celebrate the community built over the summer.
