Eastern Ontario Bike Tour - Day 8 - Pakenham to Jones Falls

In this episode, I began at the Riverbend Park campground next to the Mississippi River near Pakenham and rode to the Jones Falls lock station of the Rideau Canal near Elgin. Along the way I passed through Almonte, Carleton Place and Perth where I stopped for lunch. After lunch I made a brief stop at the Silver Queen Mica Mine in Murphy's Point Provincial Park, and crossed Rideau Lake over the historic swing bridge at the Narrows.

The bike I used for this trip is a Linear Limo Recumbent Bike made in New York. I carried my gear in 2 Giant Waterproof Panniers, and mounted my tent and sleeping pad on the top of the rack.
