I like this recipe because it makes A LOT :) Also, it has a ton of fiber so you will have a great bowel movement afterwards. That’s not the reason my husband liked it lol but it’s an added bonus!
SERVES: 15 cups of granola
6 cups of oats ("old fashioned" or "quick")
2 cups of shredded coconut
1½ cups of wheat germ
¾ cups of walnuts
¾ cups of sliced almonds
1½ cups of Grape-nuts (Whole Grain Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Salt, Dried Yeast)
¾ cups of sesame seeds (6 ounces)
1 teaspoon of salt
¾ cups of vegetable oil
¾ cups of honey
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Stir in oil, honey, and vanilla.
3. Divide into 4 equal parts.
4. Bake each part separately in a 9"x13" pan for 15 minutes at 325F, stirring occasionally until golden brown.
5. Cool.
6. Stir until crumbly.
