Description:

Valor Mortis is a first-person action soulslike from the creators of Ghostrunner. Rise from death as a former soldier of Napoleon’s army. Wield supernatural powers, battle horrifying monsters, and unravel a conspiracy that threatens all of humanity.

The game takes place in an alternate 19th-century Napoleonic Europe, which has been ravaged by a mysterious plague. You play as William, a soldier of the Grande Armée who was killed and then unholy resurrected with the corrupting power of the plague flowing through his veins. Your mission is to battle horrifying monsters and the plague-ridden abominations of Napoleon's "Eternal Guard" while unraveling a horrific conspiracy behind your resurrection and the plague.

Gameplay Features:

⚔️ First person souls-like known for its challenging combat and a focus on exploration. The combat system emphasizes parries, dashes, and visceral finishers using a variety of weapons (swords, bayonets).

💀 Your supernatural powers, which are a result of the corruption, allow you to channel power to enhance attacks and unlock new abilities. The developers intend for each death to be an opportunity to grow stronger and gain new superhuman skills.

🏃 The game features advanced mobility, similar to Ghostrunner, which is essential for surviving the hostile environment.
