Honoring the innovative and impactful projects of our graduating students, the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, in partnership with the 'Engagementpreis-Stiftung', celebrated the 14th annual Commitment Award ceremony on July 11, 2025. This event showcased the real-world impact our Master of Public Policy students have already during their studies.

In this video, you'll meet our three winning projects and learn how they aim to make a difference in the world:
• *Mvita Adult and Continuing Education*, by Frida Akumu Onyango, offers literacy and secondary school programs for adults in Kenya's Mombasa County, promoting personal development and improving employment opportunities.
• *Eco-Flow Ghana and Afghanistan*, by Audrey Ampoma Boadu and Tahmina Kakar, seeks to improve menstrual health, empower women, and promote environmental sustainability by providing affordable, reusable sanitary towels and education programs.
• *Halla Bol*, by Yashaswini Nand, aims to prevent sexual harassment in India by educating children and raising public awareness.

*Markus Pins*, the initiator and donor of the award with his foundation *Engagementpreis-Stiftung*, presents the awards and discusses the winning projects with the recipients. The Commitment Award is an annual prize presented by the foundation "Engagementpreis-Stiftung" to support sustainable ideas and social projects developed by Brandt School MPP students specializing in Social Entrepreneurship.
