I have been a long-time fan of Amy Lee and her band Evanescence since their very first album. I listened to that album over and over again, and it got me through so many ups and downs in my youth. I could never match Amy Lee's mastery of the voice that she displays in her songs, but I hope to come close in some degree with my attempt at this song. I hope that it can bring you as much joy as Amy Lee's songs have for me.
