Today's walk starts on 38th St on the northern end of the Miami Beach Boardwalk. Though it's called a boardwalk, there are no boards in sight! Maybe it's a surfboard reference! Anyway, we'll head south along the trail, just steps off the shoreline on the way down through Lummus Park and South Beach, staying on the trail with a few brief detours to the a peak towards the ocean. It's a hot Summer morning and the boardwalk is quite active.

Listen closely to the relaxing sounds of the birds, bicycles, and conversation.
